Welcome David Fraser

John Green & Company Realtors would like to welcome David Fraser to their company of agents.

Born in Lafayette, IN, David Fraser and his younger brother grew up on a hog farm southeast of Fort Wayne where his father was the local high school Vocational Agriculture teacher. David Returned to West Lafayette to attend Purdue, graduating with a dual major in Agriculture Communications and Agri-Sales & Marketing. Two weeks into his freshman year, a cousin introduced him to the future Maureen Fraser (then Connors).

David began his career in a Houston advertising agency, working on the Shell Agricultural Chemicals account, then DuPont Agricultural Products, before a year stint with another major ad agency in Chicago. David and Maureen returned to Houston where he worked for Continental Airlines’s ad agency and was instrumental in their 1991 rebranding efforts.

In Atlanta, David worked a year with his final ad agency on legacy products before The Cotton Board recruited him to Memphis in 1994 as VP of Communications. After serving 10 years with the board, he then became the VP of Industry Communications and Policy with the US Potato Board for another ten years. During this time, David remained in Memphis, despite the board’s base in Denver, as he traveled for more than 100 nights per year. He retired from the board in January 2016, then recruited as a management consultant for the American Egg Board in Chicago.

David, Maureen and their oldest daughter Brittany settled in Collierville in 1995, with Andrew and Abby soon joining their family. All three kids attended Collierville elementary, middle and high schools before going onto Tulane, Purdue and the University of South Carolina respectively.

David coached and served on the board of Collierville soccer for many years, eventually dubbed “the godfather of Collierville soccer” by former mayor Linda Kerley for his work at getting new facilities at H.W. Cox park, Progress Road Park and W.C. Johnson Park. He also served as treasurer and president for the CHS Dragons Soccer, during which the boys earned their first State Finalist finish. David now collaborates with Jordan Sawyer, the Vocational Agriculture teacher at CHS, as they work to expand the footprint of the ag program.

At John Green & Company Realtors, David looks forward to working with first-time home buyers and empty-nesters who want to take a little more time with their decisions. David has also applied for his MS license and will be working in that growing market.

We are excited to have David join John Green and Company. His enthusiasm for real estate and knowledge of our community will be a great asset to his clients. David has served in many roles in the Collierville area, and we are thrilled to have him as a part of the John Green & Company Family!
